Current projects include:
Helping renovate homes with my Son-in-law
Meeting with the Queensland Instrument Makers Society to build an organisation which will encourage others with skill to come forward to share ideas and promote our craft.

Helping my daughters Anne-Louise and Judith with baby sitting while they get back to business.
Researching other designs for Musical instruments to make and enjoy.
Learning how to make Classical Guitars. I've started making them and am imporving my techniques as I go.
Producing Harps and instruments for enthusiasts and the curious and making a presence at Wood working and Trade shows in the Brisbane area.
I am also a wine maker and have made a wide variety of wines which so far have done quite well in local wine shows and judging. Unfortunatley none so far have been cellared as I'm as accomplised at comsuming them as I am at producing them.

Past projects include:
Building a small ply, racing sailing boat of the class "125" 125 logo
They were at that time built only by the stitch and glue method of fabrication where cut and shaped sheets of Marine ply were stitched in place with copper wire and then glued together with fiberglass.
My son and I raced this boat with some success in a number of State and National titles but nothing pleased me more than to take it to the river on a Saturday afternoon for a race up and down the Brisbane River.
I've done a couple of restorations on a Pianola (player piano) I've had for some 30 years. It's a beautiful old thing and still sounds great.

I've been involved in building and renovating a number of homes over the years and have enjoyed the constant challenge of learning new techniques.
I, with the aid of my wife Dorothy, have also had the opportunity of raising 4 beautiful children. They could be called a work in progress, but I believe they're doing all right by themselves now.
